It was also conveniently close to the Reagan airport, making it a great choice for travelers. the hotel was situated near all the Old Town restaurants and shops, providing plenty of options for dining and entertainment. The room itself was comfortable and clean, with modern decor and a decent size. The bathroom, although small, was functional and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.
The walls in the hotel were paper thin, causing noise disturbances and making it difficult for light sleepers to get a good night's rest.

I had a fantastic stay at the Old Colony Inn! The staff was so friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and I felt safe exploring it on foot. The free parking and shuttle service to local areas were a huge plus. I must say, Jeremiah, one of the drivers, stood out as an excellent and dedicated employee. And let me tell you, the breakfast was more than ample, with a great variety of hot dishes that changed daily. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Alexandria.

The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and had a great variety of options to choose from. the staff provided exceptional service and made sure I had everything I needed. the hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. Additionally, the free shuttle service to popular tourist destinations was a huge advantage and made getting around the city much easier.
One downside was the condition of the building. the inside of the hotel could have been better maintained, with deteriorating walls and noticeable stains on the walls.

We absolutely loved the cleanliness of the rooms and the comfortable beds. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the complimentary shuttle service that took us to various attractions and the Braddock St Metro station. The location was perfect for exploring the DC area, with easy access to the center of DC and the Amtrak station. Moreover, the breakfast provided was fantastic, and the staff members were always friendly and helpful.
